This is a very special recognition award, one very close to our hearts.
Many of you will know of the amazing Lisa Tenzin-Dolma, who has just retired from her position as Education and Career Development Officer at INTODogs.
Among Lisa’s many achievements in the world of positive dog training are:
Being one of the first members of INTODogs
Being a founder of ICAN: International Companion Animal Network – bringing together force – free professionals who work with many species, to create a better understanding of force free methods across them all.
Founding the non – profit organisation The Dog Welfare Alliance, which helps dogs in need the world over while promoting the force – free, positive dog training message.
Many excellent books on dog training and behaviour (amongst other things!)
Caring for and helping many rescue dogs and sharing her experiences with those dogs, in order to help others
…and of course she is the Founder and Principal of the wonderful The International School for Canine Psychology and Behaviour Ltd – ISCP which continues to be one of the very best schools for canine behaviourists around.
Through the school Lisa has taught (and continues to teach) many pupils to be better guardians, trainers and behaviourists, launched many careers, and created a network of friends and students who will continue to enjoy her attention and devotion to the study of Canine Psychology & Behaviour, and making dog’s lives better.
We have been very honoured at INTODogs to have such a massive force for good among us, and are very grateful that Lisa will continue to support our work as one of our Patrons.
From all of us at INTODogs, Lisa we love you and thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all you have done for us INTOMembers and for the dogs world wide who continue to benefit as a result of your involvement in the INTOWorld!
