In May, a group of us attended the excellent Handling Skills weekend with Turid Rugaas designed to increase awareness of the impact handling can have on our relationship with dogs. Increase your familiarity with practical techniques for problem prevention and strategies for handling when problems arise. Turid offers a range of useful and extremely effective practical strategies for making life easier for you and your dog.

Tutor: Mike Jones (14 years experience working with all breeds of dog. Certificate in canine psychology, Associate member of the Animal Care College, certificate in Handling Skills and canine communication from Turid Rugaas(Norway). Mike is a member of the Association of INTO Dogs.

Monty Roberts Sept-Oct 2008 MONTY'S CHALLENGE!
Autumn Tour in the UK `Our Monty' will be back in September travelling around the UK, demonstrating, educating, inspiring. Each and every demonstration is unique with `horses with problems' brought along usually a young horse that needs backing, perhaps a horse who hates clippers or won't load in the horse box. This time we're also looking to help riders who have lost their confidence in their horse's jumping or riding manners. Make sure you don't miss these demonstrations!

28th October 2008 Canine Massage for active Dogs, college certificate. This course provides an introduction to canine massage and teaches techniques such as how to warm up a dog prior to exercise. Excellent for those with agility dogs or a working breed. This course covers theory and offers the chance for practical application.
